Nash immigrated to New York City from Jamaica at the age of six years old. He graduated from Georgetown University and retired from the Arlington County Police Department as a Crime Scene Investigator after 20 years of service. He is the owner of Carpenters of Georgetown, a home renovation company. Nash is married with a daughter in college and two young sons. Nash and his family live in the West Village.
