Susan’s varied experience includes work at Fortune 100 companies, entrepreneurship, and civic advocacy beginning with her first job as a Naval Architect at a Virginia shipyard and later as a Disney executive in California. As a brand manager for companies like Disney and Nestle, Susan has garnered extensive experience in business strategies, communication, client service, and technology platforms. Currently, as the CEO and founder of AdmissionSmarts, an educational consulting company, Susan advocates for college access and affordability. Susan has served on several non-profits and was recently appointed to the National Council on White House History. She and her husband John, a government affairs expert, live on N Street.
