Ellen joined CAG as a new resident in 2019. The move to Georgetown sparked a passionate interest in becoming involved in the community – starting as a Block Captain and taking on more direct involvement on the CAG board. Ellen was co-founder of several successful businesses in the Industrial Automation field and brings to the board the Business leadership skills developed over the course of her career. Ellen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business and International Trade from the University of Buffalo and her Masters in Instructional Design from the University of Maryland.

In addition to her involvement in CAG, Ellen is involved with Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business as an Adjunct Professor and an Entrepreneur in Residence supporting current students and alumni in their entrepreneurial journey. She also serves as a mentor for new venture founders at Halcyon, supports members of the Georgetown Village, and is a volunteer at the Library of Congress.
