Across a 20-year career, Brittany Sawyer has spent over a decade working with nonprofits. From community and economic development to hospitality and real estate associations, she prefers roles where she can make a positive difference in communities and the lives of others. This passion has led her to serve on nonprofit boards and support causes. As a previous volunteer with the Citizens Association of Georgetown (CAG), she was asked by board members to step in during the pandemic. Brittany has been at the helm of a significant transformation at CAG. She has a degree in marketing and industry certifications, including in nonprofit management. This year, Brittany completed the DC Police Community Engagement Academy and enrolled in the Community Emergency Response Team program.
