Georgetown Time Machine: Lower Georgetown Slum

This week on Georgetown Time Machine, I’m exploring a striking photo of lower Georgetown. The photo comes from the DC Historical Society and is dated to 1905.The description of the photo states that it’s of M St. looking north. Or rather it says “M(?) St.” looking north.
